76 | Gilt-bronze sculpture of Buddha Shakyamuni seated in Vajrasana on a chiselled lotus base with his right hand in Bhumisparshamudra, while the left rests on his lap supporting the alms-bowl, clad in a monastic garb chiselled and incised with beautiful dragons and flowers. His face in a gentle expression bears the Bindu (Urna) on the forehead made with a small antique semi precious stone coral. Sculpture obtained by the traditional lost wax technique, gilded by antique fire-gilding process with pure 24Kt gold. Sealed base with Visvajra symbol. Tibet 1850/1950 | w. cm 23 / h. cm 32 |

His right hand in Bhumisparshamudra, while the left rests on his lap supporting the alms-bowl, clad in a monastic garb chiselled and incised with beautiful dragons and an outstanding figure of a deer on His left shoulder. His face is displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, smiling lips, curled hair and the Ushnisha topped with a lotus-bud. The face retains traces of old pigments. 78 | Gilt-bronze sculpture of Ekadashalokeshwara (Ekadasha Maha Karunika Lokeshwara / Bodhisattva of Great Compassion / 1000 arms Avalokiteshvara / 1000 eyes Cenresig Spyan-ras gzigs / Guanyin / Kannon / Nidubarusheckchi). Standing in Samabhanga on a beautiful lotus base placed on a chiselled and engraved throne. His two principle hands in Anjalimudra, the other six radiating around his body and holding separate made attributes. His head consisting of 11 gilded faces, all displaying a serene expression apart from one with a ferocious expression of a Dharma protector. Clad in a beautiful dhoti with the finials curling up, nicely bejewelled. Sculpture obtained by the traditional lost wax technique, gilded by antique fire-gilding process with pure 24Kt gold. Traces of antique blue colour on the hair. Sealed throne-base with Visvajra symbol. Tibet end of XIX cent. | h cm. 31 |
